President Barack Obama And First Lady Michelle Obama Charm On "The View"

This morning, the Commander-in-Chief and First Lady graced the set of “The View” to talk about all those super cute things we love about them, like where they shared their first kiss, how the President tucks Michelle in at night, and how they want to retrace their honeymoon voyage once they leave the White House (in 2016 hopefully).
The mood was definitely light, despite the fast-approaching election day. The president did briefly address his opponent Mitt Romney and his plans for the country over the next four years, but the highlight of their appearance was definitely the Barack-Michelle love fest.  See a clip below:

On The X Factor this week, 17-year-old Willie Jones delivered a performance that left the show’s judges in complete awe.  The Shreveport, Louisiana native took to the stage rocking a Kid ‘n Play old-school high-top haircut along with a cut off jean jacket, and shocked judges when he began singing “Your Man,” a country music hit by Josh Turner.

“Your voice is a sensational recording voice and I want to remember this time, the first day I heard Willie Jones,” Simon said after Willie’s performance.

“Willie Jones you are an absolute original. He sounds like a Willie Jones right? It’s perfect. That was amazing,” praised L.A. Reid.

Britney Spears took to twitter to show some love for Willie, who is from her home state of Louisiana. “Willie’s from my home state! @LouisianaBredAndButtered I bet y’all weren’t expecting that voice. I know I wasn’t…,” she tweeted.

Will.i.am Developing TV Talent Show For Geniuses (“An American Idol For Young Wizards”)

Questioning whether the reality TV singing contests have run their course, rapper, musician, songwriter, singer, entrepreneur, actor, DJ and producer Will.i.am is reportedly working on a new technology-themed talent show that “aims to be an American Idol for young wizards.”

Will wants to create a TV platform that will find young geniuses to develop new products and encourage more children to develop “STEM” (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) skills, suggesting that a TV show that sets out to highlight technology stars would have “a more lasting impact, potentially creating a new product and creating jobs.”

Comedian and “Saturday Night Live” regular Jay Pharoah debuted his POTUS impression on Saturday night’s SNL season premiere, replacing Fred Armisen in the role.  In the opening sketch, Pharaoh’s Obama reminded voters that while he may have his flaws, the alternative — a Mitt Romney presidency — would be far worse.  Jason Sudeikis reprised his awkward-rich-guy impersonation of Romney and Taran Killam rocked a Wisconsin accent to play arithmetic-challenged running mate Paul Ryan.  Watch the clip above, courtesy of NBC.

NEW YORK (AP) — The “American Idol” judges’ panel is now complete with the naming of singer-rapper Nicki Minaj and country crooner Keith Urban.  The Fox network officially tapped the pair with an announcement Sunday, just hours before the first round of judging for next season was due to begin in New York.

The announcement also settles the status of Randy Jackson. He will stay put as the sole remaining original “Idol” judge, scotching rumors of a different role for him on the popular talent competition.

This trio joins newcomer Mariah Carey on a judges panel now expanded to four members from its previous three.  They fill vacancies left by Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez, who announced their exits in July.  “American Idol” returns for its 12th season in January.
